More adventures in Houston

After camp, I got the opportunity to spend a couple of weeks with my aunt, uncle, and cousins in Houston. I also got to spend more time with my camp friends before I came back to atlanta! It was awesome to spend time with the amazing people I met on the trip!

My adventures at Camp Cho-Yeh!

This summer I got the opportunity to go to my favorite place (camp cho-yeh in Livingston, TX) for my 5th year! Since I was 16, I got to do a cool program called CLT (Christian leadership training) which is a two week program that contains a 6 day backpacking adventure! It was one of the hardest things I've ever done, but such a rewarding experience! We started out at camp and then took an 8 hour bus ride to Camp Eagle where we embarked on our hiking trip. Throughout my 6 days on trail I got the opportunity to Sherpa, jump off a cliff, sleep under the stars, and so many more adventures! It was truly unforgettable. It was definitely new to me to be "roughing it" for a week but between the not showering, sleeping on rocks, and hiking with a 50 lb pack all day, I learned to appreciate a lot of Gods creation. I also grew a lot stronger in my faith and learned how to carry out my relationship with Christ. Throughout these two weeks I made truly irreplaceable relationships. Camp cho-yeh is my happy place and I'm so thankful I get the opportunity to spend each summer here.

Kendra Scott Earrings!

Recently I was in Texas during the month of June and everyone there wore Kendra Scott earrings, so I fell in love! Towards the end of my trip we came across a Kendra Scott store (which was beautiful!!) and after spending almost an hour in the store obsessing over the jewelry, I caved and bought a pair! I couldn't decide which color but I settled for a pair of crystalish blue ones! I love them and wear them with almost anything! They were $65 and you can find them at kendrascott.com, you also get a free pair during your birthday month!
